Cancellation Policy, Terms and Conditions
Due to the customized nature of KP Designs, cancellation policies will vary depending on the decorations ordered.
DEPOSIT: A 25% non-refundable deposit is due the day you book with KP Designs. Deposits are utilized to confirm your event order and date.
EVENT CANCELLATIONS: In the event of a cancellation made LESS THAN 14 DAYS before the start time of your event, the client will be responsible for 50% of the total price (the deposit already paid is included in the 50%).
OUTDOOR EVENTS: Outdoor events are commonly cancelled due to unforeseen changes in weather. In the event of forecasted inclement weather, the client must notify KP Designs 48 hours before the start time of the event. At this time, the client is responsible for 50% of the TOTAL price (the deposit already paid is included in the 50%). Failure to notify within 48 hours and the client will be responsible for 100% of the total price.
*Balloons should not be set up in extreme heat or direct sunlight, especially over 80 degrees. KP Designs will always warn clients of this and is not responsible if balloons start to fade, dull or pop during the duration of the event if the balloons are exposed to sunlight.
RESCHEDULING: KP Designs requires 7 days notice if you wish to move your event date. If the event is being rescheduled to a date and time that can be accommodated, all materials and rentals may still be utilized.
OUTSOURCED RENTALS: KP Designs outsources certain rental equipment that are requested by the client. In order to secure these rentals, they must be ordered promptly to avoid source delay. In the event of a cancellation AFTER 14 days of booking , the client will be responsible for 100% of the fees associated with the rental. This amount is NOT included in the non-refundable deposit. A copy of the rental agreement with the outsourced vendor will be provided for proof of payment.
